We’re Starting Expressionism in Philosophy: Spinoza on 2/24

Hi everyone!

I’ve managed to convert a .djvu file into a searchable .pfd of Expressionism in Philosophy Spinoza. Click the link to download it.

We’ll begin talking about the Introduction and Chapter 1: “Numerical and Real Distinction” on Tuesday, 2/24.

See you then!

Best,

Jason

Conclusion to Difference and Repetition on 2/17

At our next group meeting on 2/17, we’ll finish with Chapter 5 and move on the Conclusion of Difference and Repetition.

Deleuze’s Expressionism in Philosophy: Spinoza [Heads up: a 47.5 MB download] has been suggested for our next book. (Note, this is the longer book on Spinoza. Deleuze also did a shorter book called Spinoza: Practical Philosophy.) If anyone has any other suggestions, please post them! Otherwise, let’s plan on moving on to Expressionism in Philosophy after we finish Difference and Repetition.

Best,

Jason

Next Deleuze Reading Group Meeting 2/10

See you then!
